Mother's Day @ UPC

It was a blast on Sunday as we celebrated Moms! The message was encouraging with a powerful word on God's Grace. Moms, you have super powers in Christ and have very special unique qualities.
You have been given a tender heart and feel and care for others. You've been given Guard Rails which make you on alert for anything that could harm your child. You are also like a Lioness, very protective and territorial of not only your children, but those around you. Don't mess with a mama's children!
The lioness is a gift meant to cover our kids not just in the natural but also in the spiritual. An awake, active lioness on her knees can be a scary thing to the kingdoms of darkness.

The enemy wants try and discourage you and distort your gifts. He will try and get you to trade your tender heart for passivity, your protective energy for fear and your territirial nature for a controlling spirit.

Moms tend to battle fear, a change in identity, insecurity and guilt but God's Grace meets you where you are at. (2 Corinthians 12:9) God's Grace is the Bridge between who we are not and who he is.

Keep your head up mamas! You are loved and cherished by God. A moms prayers for her children are powerful and do not go unheard!
