ILMC Birthday Boxes

What’s one of your favorite days of the year? Your Birthday maybe? Who doesn’t love a day all about them ... well unfortunately, that isn’t always the case for some people in our community that may have fallen on hard times or aren’t in a financial position to celebrate their children’s birthdays. That is where we come in to help these families. We will be making Birthday boxes for food pantries.

Each box can either be for a boy or girl child.

Each box should include:
I box of cake mix
Frosting
Pack of birthday candles
A birthday banner
And a small gift (examples... sidewalk chalk, crayons or markers and a activity book, bubbles, candy, or stickers)

(Boxes will be provided, please bring any donations in a bag and the box will be assembled)

We will be collecting Sunday September 1 through Sunday September 29th

ILMC is an outreach ministry at Urban Poiema that focuses on serving our local community. We are passionate about serving and bringing hope to the broken. ILMC heads up several projects a year and regularly partners with local organizations to be the hands and feet of Jesus.
