No one is ever going to remember you by what you gained in life but many will remember you by what you gave in life.
So what brings fulfillment if these things don't? Serving others! Whether it is taking time to encourage someone or helping someone in need. Jesus' intention was for us to follow his example like in the book of John when he washed the disciples feet. He made it clear he was here to serve and ultimately that would mean he would die on the the cross and be raised back to life for all mankind. If Jesus did not serve, we would not have salvation as we know it. If your life is always about you, you will never have a sense of fulfillment. At UPChurch, we started as a church that serves the community through the I Love My City projects and that continues to remain a core value. A church is either known by their service or their lip-service and we want to be known by our service!! Another powerful Sunday with breaking chains in worship, meeting new people and learning the key to fulfillment! Don't miss next week for "Where is God?" LISTEN TO THE FULL SERMON ON PODCAST:

A question many often worry about. What if I don't fit into the molds of other people's expectations? What if God doesn't accept me?
Sunday's key thought was "Acceptance is not a feeling. It's a truth we either believe or reject." God first loved us before we even knew how to love Him. The truth is you ARE accepted and we only have to believe that and receive God's acceptance and love. It is LIFE CHANGING! We are excited to report that 16 new people joined the UPChurch family in our vision to bring the message of Hope to Milwaukee. We welcome all of you to be a part of the movement that God is doing at UPC. Bring a friend and come back next week as we continue on the 7 weeks to Easter and explore the question, Where is God? LISTEN TO THE FULL MESSAGE ON PODCAST:
The defining mark of a Christian is Love. We were made to love because God is love and He is in us. God's love doesn't have the conditions that many people tend to have.
So what matters most? Your relationship and Love for God and people! Love Period! We need to drop the conditions so we can be effective with the Great Commission. We can not be effective with the Great commission until we are effective with the greatest Commandment - Love the Lord Your God and Your Neighbor as Yourself! Another power packed Sunday at UPChurch as we continue on the journey to Easter with What Matters Most. Join us next week at 1 pm!! LISTEN TO THE FULL MESSAGE ON THE PODCAST: |
